Carlsbad, CA—Genevieve Mason, 97, wife of the late William Mason passed away on Dec. 18, 2016.

Genevieve was born on September 2, 1919 at home in Naugatuck, Connecticut, to the late Bernard and Karoline (Uscinowicz) Kudzma. Genevieve was raised in Naugatuck, and lived in Middlebury for 30 years, before moving in with her daughter, Beth in Carlsbad, California.

Genevieve is survived by her daughter Beth Mason-Proctor of Carlsbad, California; sons, William Mason of Fairfield, Connecticut; Edward Mason of Eureka, California; James Mason of Springdale, Washington; her four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her brother Adolph Kudzma, her sister Anastasia Prokop and grandson Brian Mason.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11am at St. Hedwig’s Church, 32 Golden Hill St, Naugatuck. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Cross St, Naugatuck.
