Dear Trombley Family, I remember Mr. Trombley as a child attending Salem School and will never forget the day I was called into his office for throwing Crayola Crayons out the window at the kids below playing kickball and running around. His presence struck fear into me because I new he was a very disciplined man and would not tolerate any of that behavior. Also, Carl was the first man I ever saw smoking a cigar. Every time I smell a cigar it reminds me of my younger days at Salem School and all the great memories I had getting to know him as my principal and then later meeting his family. I highly respected him. He had a memorable impact on my life.
