Dear Carolyn Vieira and children, Belated sympathies concerning Manny's recent passing away. I'm a little late with this note because I've been fighting some health issues. Myself and Sheila send our sympathies and condolences to all of you. I lost a good friend. Manny helped me so much buying real estate. I am indebted to Manny for helping me buy my office at 25 Cherry Street. After I submitted a bid for the property Shell Oil Company tried to side step me due to an offer from another party at a higher price. Long story short, Manny called Shell Oil in Houston Texas to speak with the legal staff and low and behold who picked up but one of their lawyers who was of Portuguese decent. The Portuguese lawyer saw everything our way speaking in Portuguese. Shortly thereafter I went through with the sale. Manny and I were very close friends. I respected and admired him greatly.
