Naugatuck-Anthony J. Tangredi, 86, passed away on January 27, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the widower of Bernice (Stumpo) Tangredi.

Mr. Tangredi was born on April 27, 1926 in Naugatuck. He worked in management for both Uniroyal for 30 years and Bristol Babcock for 10 years before retiring. He was a member of the Christopher Colombo Society in Naugatuck for many years. He was an avid fan of both the NY Yankees and the UCONN Huskies.

He is survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister Josephine Chakalinsky.

Funeral services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours and the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave, Naugatuck is in charge of arrangements.
