PROSPECT — Mrs. Rosemary (Edmond) Tutolo, age 71, of Prospect, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2012, at the VITAS Innovative Hospice Care Unit at Saint Mary's Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Robert J. Tutolo Sr. for 51 years.

Mrs. Tutolo was born in Waterbury on Aug. 5, 1940, daughter of the late Stewart and Helen Edmond. She was retired after working as a retail sales associate and was a communicant of St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church in Prospect. She enjoyed traveling with her husband to Europe and the Caribbean. Her family also spent many memorable summers together at Charlestown Beach in Rhode Island. She loved spending time with her family, friends and grandchildren.

Besides her husband, Mrs. Tutolo is survived by two daughters, Lori Dickman and her husband, David, of Prospect and Susan Skoog and her husband, J.R., of Manchester; two sons, Robert Tutolo Jr. and his wife, Sheryl, of Northfield and Michael J. Tutolo and Gina Battistoni of Prospect; and seven grandchildren, Danielle and Steven Dickman, Bobby, Carly and David Tutolo, and Jason and Ryan Skoog.

A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Roman Catholic Church, 4 Union City Road, Prospect. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 26 Waterbury Road, Route 69, Prospect.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial and Honor Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
