The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Deptula can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

My brother & the truth as we both know it.

It's been over 1 month since I lost my brother to devastating cancer.  I was with him through the most harrowing last year of his life.  Every appointment, every test and most importantly for moral support.  Bob appreciated my companionship and caring.  Whatever his needs no matter what, they were addressed during the most critical time of his life.  To all the so called "born agains" who are victims of their "upbringing" and who pretended to care, Bob & I know the truth no matter what way "they" choose to spin it.  How sad and despicable to allow jealousy & misguided greed to diminish the love & true caring a sister offered her brother.  Bob called me when he received his diagnosis & asked for my help because he knew I was dependable & honest. I asked nothing from him except to get well.  He is the one who is now looking down at all the pretenders and shaking his head in disbelief.  As a Christian, I pray for them for I am a true Christian and I don't just talk the talk and walk the walk.  When I attend church, I listen to what Jesus preached & try my best to be a decent human being who doesn't spend hours in church going through the "motions" of being seen as a pretense that somehow that makes me an honorable human being.  Delete my posts all you want & omit my name as many times as you want.  Bob & I know the truth & you are only sullying his memory.  I will pray for you that your hatred leaves your body and doesn't destroy your life.
