Condolence: I worked with Bob at the R&A for many years. He was always a gentleman...everyone liked Bob. Sometimes when attending St. Francis, Bob and I would talk about old times at the paper. Will continue my prayers for you and family.

Condolence: My sincere condolences to the family. Bob, who I worked for and with at the Rep-Am, was a talented newsman, calm thinker and, more importantly, a wonderful husband, father and human being.

Condolence: I met Bob during my first job in journalism at the Waterbury paper in 1975. He was such a professional and very encouraging of a cub reporter. Years later, in the early 2000s, I penned a few op-ed pieces that he published, which thrilled my parents. I was so grateful. My heart goes out to you all, his family and friends.

Condolence: Dear Bonnie and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy for Bob's passing. A true gentleman. I remember how he played the piano at my in-laws anniversary party years ago. Hugs and strength to all of you in the days ahead.❤
