The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Walter Montini can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Claudia Hoffman
Condolence: Dearest Aunt Gina, Robert, David and Families,

We will all miss Uncle! He was a great Dad, Husband Grandparent, and a fun uncle.

WhenI was small, very young, we lived above my grandparents, where lucky for me Uncle also lived. I was fortunate to get a special chance to embrace little loving things he would share, a young single man enjoying life. Some mornings I could watch him shave, or he'd give me bites of his breakfast. We'd laugh, as he joked with me. in the evenings we'd watch the national news together, my favorite part was, Good Night Chet, Good Night David, from the NBC news anchors, one in Washington DC the other in New York City.
If he was getting ready for an evening out, I'd watch him tie his tie and smooth cream on his lips, which I thought was very cool. Once he was ready to leave, of course I wanted to be included. I'd say where you going?
He'd smile, give me a hug and a little kiss then say ... To the Moon!

Lovingly I'll always remember Uncle, and I know where he is :-)

Finally he's made it "to the moon".

My heartfelt love to all of you. I'll remember Uncle with a smile though tears, till only the smile remains.

Claudia

I will remember him with a smile.
