Condolence: Mary was a special person and I admired her from the day I met her when I was just 6 years old. Her loving personality always made me smile and listening to her sing touched my heart in a special way! Our lives have separated us over the past decade yet I always thought of our friendship and the fun times! I knew Mary from St Leo's and will forever cherish the joy she has brought to my life and so many others! May your beautiful voice and love bring joy to the gates of Heaven! You were taken from this world much too soon...until we meet again, my friend.🙏🎹🎼💞 Love, Amy

Condolence: To Mary’s Family – It is with immeasureable sadness that I offer my condolences. Words of comfort are so difficult especially given the depth of your loss. Mary was taken from you too soon and I am very sorry for your sadness. It was a blessing and a privilege to know Mary as a friend and to sing under her direction in the choir ministry at St. Gregory the Great Parish. Mary was a gift to all and she enriched my life in so many ways. I will miss her sense of humor and those precious moments when we talked about our mutual faith. Contemplating on how I will remember Mary, as I came to know and love her, I will always be reminded of what she embodied each time I hear the sound of church bells, an antiphon sung, children singing or a church organ sounding its trumpets from the rafters lifting those below in faith, hope and love and in the knowledge that God is ever present in our lives. A beautiful Christian woman describes Mary from the inside out. Her life was miraculous because she touched so many people with her love. That love was kind, patient, charitable, nurturing, and unconditional, especially the love she had for her little Granddaughter, Michelina. Mary lived her Catholic faith through her teaching and her music and she answered God’s call to share that faith with the Christian community. In her Catholic music ministry, it was clear to me that she was graced by the Holy Spirit guiding her weekly selections of the most spiritually uplifting antiphons. Mary loved her Lord and God and was a willing servant. Each Sunday morning after mass, she would say to the choir....“Thank you everyone and see you Wednesday for choir practice…the good Lord willing.” She didn’t want to leave us, but God called and Mary – a most willing servant - answered the call. We will never know the reasons why but we do know that our faith tells us that Mary is now amongst God’s choir of heavenly angels. It is said that our Earthly life is nothing in comparison to our life with God. Mary will be missed and prayed for by all for eternity and may your family be consoled by the loving thoughts and prayers of friends and family so that you know you are not alone. God cover you with His protection and His love, and may His grace surround you with continued faith and hope in the life eternal. Peace be with you, Susanne
