Condolence From: Daphne and Lee Lasser
Condolence: I have many warm memories of Aunt Frances and Uncle Sam...Fran was always so kind to me. When I was a child she would take time to talk with me and most importantly was very caring. I loved spending time with her cooking in the kitchen...then enjoying a wonderful meal! Park Avenue memories were fabulous... filled with loud laughter and our marvelous family! What a Grand time it was... with love I remember our extraordinary Aunts and Uncles.

Condolence: Memories of our Nana!
To this day,we will never forget spaghetti with meatballs, sausages and pigs feet in the "gravy", and pronouncing other Italian ingredients her way..."Rigot" and "Scamotz"... until our friends looked at us funny. And apple pies from the tree in the backyard. Sleepovers at Nana and Poppy's house were a party for all of us...we ate candy and stayed up late, and they had their friends over for Pinochle sessions with wine, highballs and Chesterfield Kings. Coming home you could always smell those Chesterfields as soon as the suitcase opened. There was never any "go to bed early". Even after going to bed, their friend Guido would come upstairs to tease us - well mostly Chris. "Are those your pajamas? Aren't those hand me downs from your brother? You know he farted in those pajamas." But we turned out fine. We are thankful to have had Frances Silvestro as our Nana, and whenever we think of those memories, it brings a smile to our faces. Posted by Michael and read by Christopher at the graveside.

Condolence: We're sad to hear that Aunt Frances has passed. I will never forget the Friday nights we spent listening to my Mom and Dad, Uncle Sam and Aunt Frances eating and drinking, laughing, crying and sharing their lives all while they played the loudest, most animated hands of Pinochle ever recorded. Between my father and Aunt Frances there was never a question regarding who was winning each hand.
It is such a comfort to realize the Massiminos of Park Avenue, Bridgeport are all, finally, back together once again with their daughter and sister. We will never forget her.

Condolence: We will always remember our special Aunt Frances with her generous, thoughtful and joyful heart. Whenever she would visit us she never came empty handed and when we visited her she always welcomed us into her home and kitchen creating her delicious homemade Italian meals. Aunt Fran's eggplant parmigiana was the best! We will miss our Aunt Frances but the wonderful memories will last forever in our hearts.
