WE ARE NEVER ALONE
We may never come to understand why this life is filled with such sorrow. Yet, we are constantly reminded by the tragic loss of a loved one. We sometimes feel alone in our despair. Then there are times that we marvel at the tulip pushing its way through the semi-frozen ground.
We listen to the gurgling of the water as it makes its way past the boulders in the brook. It’s a sound that fills our soul like no other. We are left breathless at the sight of the golden orange sunset that casts its light as if it came straight from heaven.
It’s only in those moments do we truly realize that we are not alone. God shows us a new beginning as with the tulip. He whispers in our ear through the gurgling of the water in the brook. And he assures us of a heavenly place by the glorious sunsets that he brings.
Are we sad at times? Yes. Are we alone? Never. We don’t know why there is such sorrow as much as we can’t explain the exhilaration that happiness brings. But know this…….we are never alone. K.C.M.
