Patricia M.  Marino
Naugatuck, CT Patricia M. Marino, 71, died Saturday morning, February 21, 2015 at St. Mary’s Hospital after a brief illness. Pat was the wife of Charles L. Marino and step-mother of Charlene A. Marino, both of Naugatuck.

Pat was a retired inspector for T-Bar/Data Switch. After moving to Naugatuck, Pat served on the Republican Town Committee and spent many years on the Planning Board as chairwoman. Pat loved animals, and over the years she raised a number of West Highland White Terriers. Every Sunday morning, Pat had the radio tuned to WATR Carosello Italiano.

A member of the Waterbury Sail and Power Squadron, Pat, Charles and Charlene spent the past three summers sailing with friends on Long Island Sound aboard their 31 foot sailboat.

The daughter of the late Dorothy and William A. Schneider, who were from Wilton, CT, Pat is predeceased by her parents, brother William and sisters, Betty Churchill and Jean Schneider. In addition to her husband Charles and her daughter Charlene, Pat is survived by her sister, Shirley Schneider of Wilton, her brother, Donald Schneider of Kennebunkport, ME, and many cousins.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, February 27, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 318 Church Street. Calling hours are Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00pm at the Buckmiller Thurston Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Avenue. The U.S. Power Squadron Memorial Service will be conducted Thursday at 6:30pm at the funeral home.
