Condolence From: Marty Goldsmith
Condolence: I am sure my name is unknown to all of you. I had the pleasure of being Rod's teammate in high school. I often thought of him, wondering what he made of his life. There was never a doubt in my mind he would achieve success. It was great reading about his career. Even as a teen, Rod was a gentleman and the heart and soul of our team. I regret not finding a way to be in touch over the years, am saddened by his loss but am so pleased to read of his achievements.

Condolence: Just got back into the area and was saddened to see that Rod had passed away. I knew Rod from the Racquetball Club on Lakewood Rd in Waterbury. Played against him in singles and doubles, his partner was Bill Farrell. Being we were both left-handed players, we both received racquetballs to each others bodies, and boy could he hit hard! Will miss you.
